Amalfitano
Anyone know what the situation is with Amalfitano? I thought he'd be gone in the window. Was there no interest is he back in the fold?

He's a talented footballer who has a bit of a screw loose. Every now and then he just does stupid things, the problem is he's not good enough to justify it.

Hopefully he'll eat some humble pie and they'll patch it up as he'd be useful in the squad.

decent player, idiocy to freeze him out.

ill be looking to slaven's good judgement to bring him back into the fold.

Must have been a tasty exchange if Bilic can't forgive and forget!

Like to see him back in contention! Never forget the goals V L'pool and Man City. We need all our good players fit and raring to go!

He's by no means the worst player to have up your sleeve in the event of an injury crisis.

Hopefully draw a line under this now and get on with playing football.

Useful squad member and always seems to play his best when used as a sub, which is all he ever will be now.

Worst player in the squad now Nolan and Jarvis have gone.

Not surprised no-one decent came in for him. Another pay-off awaits.

Very underrated player on here. Great shame about the off-the-field stuff. Hope it gets sorted out. Would love to see him back in the squad.

Re: Amalfitano
Probably looked at his situation and thought 'Fuck it. I'll hang around'. Probably got a lovely pad and is now resigned to very little first team action. So he just makes ure he trains hard, keeps fit and rakes in the dosh.

It's a hard life.

Would be unlikely to get even on the bench given the his "performances" this season

He hasn't been that bad. He wasn't match fit like the rest of them, although i agree he will struggle to make the squad for NUFC.

He'd better pucker up and kiss Slav's arse then. Or maybe he fancies a spell at Orient.

Re: Amalfitano
He wants to stay in Essex and not move his family - ironically his kids are at the school as Nolan who also doesnt want to move them ... must be something about the area!

Re: Amalfitano
After the signings we've made, Bilic holds the cards. Hopefully this means Amalfitano can eat humble pie and apologise because he isn't a bad player to have in the squad.

Re: Amalfitano
I'm surprised no club thought they might pick up a bargain by putting in a low offer, knowing he'd fallen out with the boss.

Re: Amalfitano
Difficult one for Slav. Amalf needs to eat humble pie and clear the air. How many times have we seen players fall out with managers and then things get sorted and they move forward. Except in the case of Fergie, once you crossed him, their was only ever one outcome.
